Kadesh-Barnea

167: Give Me This Mountain! (45th Church Anniversary Message, Josh. 14:6-15)

After the Promised Land had been subdued, Caleb asked Joshua for the inheritance that Moses had promised for wholly following the Lord forty-five years earlier, at Kadesh-Barnea. Pastor Hollandsworth compares Caleb’s perseverance in faithfulness with the Christian’s call to persevere in hope, while anticipating reward.

165: The Significance of Number 38 (Walking with Jesus Series, #028: John 5:1-15)

On the Sabbath Jesus healed a man at the Pool of Bethesda who had an infirmity for 38 years. Pastor Hollandsworth demonstrates that the religious leadership of Israel missed the critical importance of this sign, and that multitudes of church-age believers are missing it as well.

095: Don’t Apostatize! (Hebrews Series #06: Heb. 3:7-19)

OT Israel was a redeemed nation that chose not to believe God and enter the promised land. The writer to the Hebrews uses this OT type to warn NT believers not to apostatize. Pastor Hollandsworth talks about the dreadful prospect of becoming an “unbelieving believer” and thereby disinherited at the Judgment Seat. Instead, we must become partakers of Christ through perseverance.
