#04: “The Romans Road to Salvation” Misnomer

Scripture: Romans 1:1-17

Paul wrote Romans to deal with the problem of disunity and division among the believers at Rome, which was preventing the spread of the gospel to other places. Pastor Hollandsworth shows that the terms “gospel” and “salvation” in Rom. 1:16-17 refer to the good news of ongoing salvation (sanctification) for believers unto kingdom inheritance. Consequently, several of the verses used in the Romans Road of salvation are misused.
